2A was to protect the newborn nation from foreign invaders, by establishing a "well regulated militia," not an OK for every Nikolas, Payton and Salvador to own their own AR-15s.

The Public needs to see the Massacre! They need to see the bodies as horrible as that is. Let them try to look away..I dare them. Were it my child, a full posterboard of their demise I would wear for all news and politicians to see!

Over 80 million Americans own firearms, over 40% of households have firearms. Question for you mental giants: what do you think would be the outcome if tomorrow the 2A was repealed, and overnight all of those gun owners became criminals? Especially if confiscation was ordered.

If one wishes to be an originalist, concerned only with the founders' intent, the only tool at mass shooters' disposal should be muskets. Carrying a bag of gun powder and a bag of musket balls. Requiring several minutes to reload between shots.
