strategy (settlers of catan), then trivia (most of a one hour drive was occupied by a discussion of where a number of obscure countries are on the world map)
we have several hundred games of settlers between us, our iterated prisoners dilemma has resulted in unwritten rules like "always place the robber on the weakest numbers first so you don't offend anybody and can escalate later"
