find lately i just want to cultivate noticing + producing beauty (in a complex/un-trite sense of beauty) + leave public cleverness out of it

but this has an unfortunate stranding effect, too. the real world has not become magically more hospitable as the internet has desertified.

and if one becomes too stranded, this can lead to bitterness or a stunting of feeling, which is not productive if your project is "beauty"
