if you have a surplus of story ideas, consider writing a novel with an author as the protagonist and just describing the stories

a few years ago I came up with a setting where everybody was carrying their world with them and entering one meant submitting to their rules

the protagonists would travel, find small mundane worlds but also occasionally get lost in large epics, talk to the respective gods, etc

one chapter you're watching the norse gods make a fool of loki yet another time, another you're climbing through a tree in space

there'd be storyteller duels, sometimes duets, wild chases and periods of retreat (think visiting tom bombadil before travelling on)
back then it looked daunting, right now I probably only need practice writing characters and longform, the having ideas part seems solved
