It seems to be a mix of (supposedly) unpromoted tweets from Brands, and one-degree-from-ingroup randos

it seems like the "you might like" content is now inserted directly into the timeline - don't know about promoted tweets, css-filtered

That but way more of it also, but it might be fixed now anyway, nothing recent unaccounted for
also temporal ordering seems to have been broken for days, but I've reduced my twitter reading so I don't know when that happened
