You probably need some JS and Greasemonkey knowledge to use this, but you can easily adapt it to filter for tweet content etc

you *can* do that but it's a ton of boilerplate and google want me to give them five bucks to upload signed extensions

also it's a nearly trivial script, designed to be edited, and easily installed in greasemonkey/tampermonkey
