I wouldn't say Bender's Big score is about time travel. Neither the Time Machine, despite the title. Nor much of Dr Who.

Any story with travelling to the past has potential paradoxes so the Time Machine itself is as good a candidate as any...

...but if you mean a story in which the problem is adressed at some point, my guess is it became fashionable in the 1930-40s
