question is, is IQ even well defined here, or a meaningful measure; to define an IQ-like measure you'd need:

egregores may be more diverse than that? wouldn't rule out that you could find a few necessary core competencies though

then, what makes up the egregore, who is part of it, does it even have well defined borders, how do we interface with it
depending on the task, the egregore will take a small form (priesthood) or a large one (with armies in religious wars)

we can talk to its members, but how can those members make sure the egregore puts its full competence to the test?
