For fucks sake, why are we still not done with emulating paper? I cringe every time I open yet another new black-on-white website or app.

I get afterimages from the white rectangle that I have to look at, If i dim it it becomes too dark at daytime

i do. i have a seriously elaborate lighting setup, much of which is self-made

hmm, works for me (okay, I also use redshift though). we may have different wetware versions.

I use f.lux, too. yep, my wetware has some channel crosstalk and sensitivity goes up to 11 for some dimensions

ahh I have the same but for my ears. for quick fixes, I often simply fire xcalib -a -i (does not work well with redshift though)
