I've mentioned in the past that I talk in my sleep, fluently. Like "can solve multiple-digit multiplication problems in my head" fluent. 5/n

That's kinda neat actually. I have this (awake) thing where I can maintain 1.5 conversations at once, one stateful, one stateless

It seems that my being "fully there" is not required for a stateless conversation? (= giving answers to contextless questions)

Barely. Like when you used to sleep in class, the teacher asks you a question and you retrieve the context from the ring buffer.

I've tried to maintain two simultaneous full conversations once or twice but that does really weird things to my thinking.

I can do that in text but not voice.

Same, I think text allows you to context switch while voice requires full simultaneity? (that said, there are simult. translators)
