That's kinda neat actually. I have this (awake) thing where I can maintain 1.5 conversations at once, one stateful, one stateless

It seems that my being "fully there" is not required for a stateless conversation? (= giving answers to contextless questions)

takeaway: (awake) consciousness is needed for integration over longer timespans here (but maybe not even that)

It makes it *really* hard to tell whether I'm actually awake or lying like a rug to make someone leave me alone so I can sleep.
