The galaxy’s center is where most energy budget is. Anyone who controls Sagittarius A* prolly controls what the Local Group will evolve to be in the long long run.

that specific scheme probably just shoots through the star without significantly harming it (main sequence stars are not very dense and at 0.1c you'd go through the sun in under a minute) - that said, take a few more and you can leave one in the star
Thanks for pointing that out. Now I’m curious if someone runs the number what would be that “a few”. Maybe this will be complete bonkers haha.
