This is a file system view intended to make easy to find large files. The bigger the rectangle the more space it takes. White rectangles are folders, darker ones are files. I'm curious whether people can make sense of what's going on without more of a tutorial than that.

I use something like this occasionally, it's indeed very useful (windirstat is the canonical implementation I believe)

That's one of the first programs of this type I ran into :) I'm trying to make a version that's more clear and enjoyable to use. Ideally it'd be easier for non-technical people too (one of the original goals), but I'm not feeling to confident about that...
