Doesn't quite work. Even if univ completely governed by self-describing dumb laws (i.e. math) then its existence as a whole still lacks explanation, as does absence of abstract math objects (infinities, irrationals) in the physical univ
latter could for example be explained by the universe taking place in the effective topos, aka computable space, which lacks all the fancy infinite stuff
that also has other things going for it, for example equivalence between any two turing machines is undecidable in the general case, and guess what's hard to do in this universe? doing exact measurements of anything
