Detecting rhyme patterns in poetry, curious to know if a neural language model can pick up on this, will keep you posted! (currently soundex and phoneme detection for rare words, but not there yet with words as "Simile" :D)

Indeed! Similarly so for alliteration, being almost the opposite of rhyme that happens at the end of a sentence, flow happens all throughout, especially through stress/syllables.
