~personal news~ as they say...I'm writing a book through about 2020, women in power & the presidential glass ceiling! To all of you politicos (especially the ladies!), I want your smart thoughts on this complex, all-consuming topic.

Good for for coming straight at Mark Esper with a question about why he waited until he had a book to sell to reveal truths that show Trump was unfit & then following up when Esper offered a self-serving justification.

Notable: Some of this is what abortion-rights Democrats have been pushing for years. The party, for instance, dropped the Clinton "safe, legal and rare" language from the Dem party platform in 2012. It has a long backstory >>

Asked what this failed WHPA vote means and what her message is on what comes next. Harris makes a ballot box argument, saying Americans need to vote for pro-choice candidates at all levels of gov’t come November.

Maybe it’s bc of today’s WHPA vote. Maybe it’s bc I’m doing a final pass on my book. But I can’t get over the idea that we’ve only had 58 women (total) serve in the US Senate. 17 states have still never had a woman represent them there.
