    I spent over 300 hours in the past 15 months to gather data and quantify 65 elements on U.S. based billion dollar start-ups founded since 2005 and learned many lessons, some counter-intuitive and some against pre-conceptions! Here's what I learned:

    💯 percent agree. Economics for startup employees rarely work-out well and VCs don't do much (or mostly do the reverse) to solve this.

    Attn VCs looking for differentiation for better deal flow: Now’s the perfect time to come up with a strategy to become “employee-friendly” on top of “founder-friendly.” I have so many ideas. For free! My DMs are open.

    2/ "I Hear You" is a relatively short book (but also still long for it being a book) that highlights the importance of acknowledging and giving validation while listening to other people, or better yet, hearing them. Useful in all contexts, work or personal relationships.

    OK, it's that time of the year! This year I started listening to 23 audio-books, stopped listening to 4 (if I don't like it, I'll stop) & finished these 19. Huge tnx to the authors for your time

    Found this email from Feb 2011 announcing to audiences at Stanford an unknown research project called “Spark”. Happy to have continued helping with it since then. That small research project has created many billion dollars of value through & team. Well done.
