To
#ScrapTheRapeClause would they have to scrap 2-child policy (which they should) or is there a way of keeping it & scrapping the clause? -
my preference would be to scrap the two-child policy also - lots of problems around equalities and "blended" families.

Impressed by all you said. You really understand, where they don't have a clue nor give a toss, situations of rape are not black & white.
-
thank you. So frustrating that despite my putting this to them on so many occasions, UK Gov Ministers just don't get it!
-
I believe the sad thing is a lot of them just don't want to get it. I also believe that those who do understand will not give up the fight.

Surely, if somebody is a victim of the crime of rape it would be a bit careless to allow a pregnancy to result from it?
-
that's a bit simplistic; rape happens in relationships. Have a read at this: https://goo.gl/TBzQkF

Morning after pill is easy to get or seek medical help if preg test is +ve. Rape is a vile crime but no need 2 make it worse

@KirstySNP honestly can't believe this hasn't been swept aside. It's shameful. -
I know. I can't believe they're still pursuing it either!
-
thank you for not giving up. For continuing to fight for vulnerable women.

Not to mention a child growing up and finding out from someone in a benefits office that it was the result of rape
-
This is what terrifies. Imagine adults feeling shame to exist and the repeated trauma for mother. Another explanation of her existence.

@ITrustInSNP then there is the fact a 3rd child isn't treated as equally as its older siblings by the State.Thanks. Twitter will use this info to make your timeline better. Undo -
Article 16 1. No child shall be subjected to arbitrary or unlawful interference with his or her privacy, https://downloads.unicef.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/UNCRC_united_nations_convention_on_the_rights_of_the_child.pdf?_ga=1.67942424.829748245.1491637885 …

Just how many women have a third child due to rape? Not criticising, just wondering.
-
-
Children are children. They should not be denied a decent standard of living because of the number of siblings they have. Period.
-
I agree, but why bring this up now when the bill was ratified in 2015. Are you trying to get rape and Tory in the same sentence?
-
It has been campaigned on from the beginning. It is social engineering
-
Why are they not marching through London, or are you suggesting only the SNP care. That is a crock and you know it
