    Last week in Monterey I found this pinkish-orange , which might be Eurylepta aurantiaca? My first time seeing it, and one of the more colorful flatworms I've found in the CA (since it's not tan/cream/brown!).

    Final ruling on these little mysterious orange things: embryos of the Henricia pumila. When both John Pearse and Jeff Goddard say so, I think it makes it official. So - baby !

    One of & my fun finds yesterday in the was this bright green brooding (Epiactis prolifera). Normally they're orange-pink-tan, we've never seen a green one! Tell me more, tweeps!

    Okay tweeps, help solve a mystery: what is this??? Sort of looks like a but not with the usual tunicate parts (no visible siphons?), also reminds me of very tiny (smooth on one side, little nubbins on the other)? Seen in the , Monterey.

    Whoa tweeps, 3 new-to-me species in just 2 days of ! The first huge one we think is a brown box crab (Lopholithodes foraminatus) and is a new species for Pillar Point!
