The concept: I will walk you through my personal methodology of attacking unknown software targets for vulnerability research, from 0 to 0-day. It's an intense jump-start workflow that I used successfully to research and attack many modern software systems. iOS is my next goal

Stage 0: Reconnaisance will do what it says: reconnaisance We'll do basic research of the iOS security landscape, decide on the first objectives, prioritize the attack vectors, set up the research environment, and outline the plan for the next stage. I will be available for help

Prerequisites: basically none (Stage 0). Some knowledge of application security principles, classes of software vulnerabilities, C and assembly is recommended Requirements: computer, brain, and at least 1-2 hours of sober time per day. Full-time immersion for best results

Study format: daily assignments, screencast walk-throughs of solutions, technical notes for the reference and more advanced study, HOWTOs, Q&A. Probably some video hangouts, just for fun Outcomes: knowledge, plans, inspiration, momentum. Fun.
