it's on youtube with no subs, there's also a torrent with hardcoded spanish subs but no seeds for at least a week

so I'm like. ok. maybe I watch on youtube with copy of libretto. if german and english side-by-side easy enough to just read, I have two monitors anyway

do you even need the libretto if you've seen it before? opera houses having subtitles is a fairly recent development

subtitles are fairly new but the time period in between "subtitles" and "the type of people who can go to operas are expected to speak these languages" is pretty short
