I don't get people mad about billionaires investing in vanity projects rather than Fixing Society when step one in any reasonable plan to Fix Society would be forcible regime change

anyway starting a launch company in the 21st century expecting to conquer the stars is arguably more realistic than building libraries in the 19th expecting to create a society of scholar-gentlemen
