I'm pretty sure "events" is referring specifically to deletion announcements, unfavs, etc, ie the stuff in the bottom table

that'd be a little awkward because doesn't the usage agreement require you to not retain deleted tweets?

yea but realistically the deletion notices allow far more mischief than just letting it slide tbh

(when they banned politwoops I wrote a program to store every tweet off a user stream in a database, then specifically flag up the deleted ones, based on those events)
