I was going to guess it was a Planet Fitness, which is especially bad about that kind of thing... and also very purple... not bougie, though.

They generally don't have barbells or dumbells above 60 lbs (I think).

I've found that this rule is generally just ignored and interpreted as "try to maintain control and good form"... Like, it's hard to do deadlifts past a certain weight and set the bar back down gently
