Actually it's worth way more than that, since you can strip people of their welfare benefits once they can no longer vote. Remember, You only keep your rights. Your entitlements? Not so much.

err, to answer the question, no. if voting rights became alienable then I'd found or join a corporation focused on leveraged vote-buying
