the part that always gets me is this comes on the heels of the tea party protests that msm called "astroturf". now they think the same of any protest outside their worldview? why does soros enter _every single conversation_ with righty?
it's easier and more comfortable to imagine a distinct enemy to rally against than it is trying to entangle a mass of converging interests, spontaneous coordination, etc
the enemy serves as a cause, and all the bad things you don't like the effect, and you remove the former to extinguish the latter
this idea feels good even if you can't actually do it, it implies the possibility of storybook victory
