Feel fairly strongly about this, don't work out if you're really sick. It can be super dangerous for you - If that does not help, think about it this way: Going to the gym while sick could very well extend or worsen your sickness which will not benefit your progress

think of the other gym goers. by going while you are contagious you are testing their immune systems, making them stronger. it is your duty to go to the gym while sick.
