@alicemazzy loved the Minecraft economy article. Did you write down or visualize the economy/relationships/system in any way? Did you use any tools to simplify the complexity?
this is before I was programming so the idea to write tooling to assist was not a thing

anyway there's only a few hundred items/item classes of consequence so it isn't hard to keep the whole thing in your head, the average mmo has an order of mag more at least

I'm pretty bad at keeping those types of things in my head so I haven't been a big fan of MMOs. I'm interested in how people make complex systems simpler for your simian minds to understand. Thanks for the response!
