The saddest thing about my high school reunion was realizing that I'm one of the three most successful of our class. All those honor students are now barely employed- even the engineers & science majors.

Why? The preterite of the barely above average is a sad sight. They did everything that they were told was the right & sure thing- & they were sold a poison pill.

honor roll kids are mostly +1-2 sigmas especially prone to following orders and trusting authorities
