I don't know that disagreement has to do with internet exposure. Aside from mind bogglingly low production values, that vid is 70's cartoon

As artist he may have bad reaction from the aesthetics side, or maybe feeling there should not be any violence/coercion.
-
One thing he does get is that low budget creators are randomly following the algorithmic carrot; your kid may get a really weird a/b test

I had to laugh every time they used the exact same synth sound for punch, kick, scythe, etc.

There's a considerable societal difference between now and then. "Don't rust anyone online" was the mantra of the internet 15-20 years ago.
-
We were exposed to undeniably weird shit online, that you'd expect fucks people up, but we had the clear knowledge it's such.
-
Most parents back then were a bit technophobic and instilled in their kids skepticism of all things online, so we learned to differentiate.
-
With platforms that keep insisting they are trusted this is no longer the case. Parents assume, there's nothing to be skeptical bout.
-
Take in mind also, that we walked into this at an age where we had enough agency to do stuff on our own, let's say at least at age 8-9.
-
Here we're talking about kids that still haven't learned how to talk. but are getting youtube as their babysitter. There is no skepticism.
-
As someone already mentioned, the gist of all this is that negligent parenting is basically undistinguishable from abuse in this scenario.
