imo whether the US falls into this category is a matter of taste, it seems silly to declare it is indisputably on the whole good

your position, that such complex and subjective matters can be agreed on definitively by all, is the unattainable idealism
-
also I am baffled by the idea that you seem to believe I am a liberal

I don't think that's true, because earlier you said that you don't believe yourself to be indisputably more good than bad.
-
Or maybe it's a semantic mismatch. Do you believe yourself to be indisputably more good than bad, by your own judgement? That's what I meant
-
we are definitely interpreting words differently bc I see "indisputably" and "by your own judgement" as a logical contradiction
-
"indisputably" == "can be disputed by no one". I am self-assured to the point of arrogance but don't contend others view the same
-
likewise I take a dim view of the US in general but can accept others reaching different conclusions
-
hmm. You actually introduced that word. I was asking about your own judgement. You believe without question that you are more good than bad?
-
But that America is more bad than good? Again without question/hesitation?
