well really, the best practice is to order the White Rabbit Press kanji flashcards, & use the RTK->WRP conversion pdf to follow RTK with WRP

I read through tae's and did N5 (and will likely do N4 next) with flashcards. the kanji mnemonic thing seems too silly to me

for ones you see frequently the mnemonics fade away… or rather, I guess other neural connections are stronger so you don't fall back on them
