funny how fast things change. stumbled on a text file last night, list of Wildly Ambitious Future Programming Projects from a year ago

makes me think of how when I first got started january before last I went browsing craigslist for software jobs
-
and was like "oh god I can't do any of this, I don't even know what most of these requirements even are, it'll be years before I can..." etc
-
then looked again in november when I was job searching and was "oh god I can't do any of this I'd die of boredom the first week"
-
I wish I had that problem... :/. Deeper I go into any of *my* projects, more I learn how much objectively they waste time.

for me it's like no time, no time, no time, no energy, takes too long, useless, useless, pointless,
-
my ideas in the interim are better but yea much bigger time investments with uncertain payoff

I assume if something is "trivial" instead of "stupid" then it's mildly useful...?
