I was once trying to find resources to help me with a recurring problem. None of my usual sources had what I was looking for. Turned to Google. Found an article that seemed to address my exact problem. It was written by me a few years prior. My first thought: I’m a fraud.

I was once researching a problem on StackOverflow, read through lots of Q&A which was just different enough not to be helpful. I finally found the answer, went to upvote it, and couldn’t. It was my answer from a couple of years ago. Welcome to fraudville, population: me!

Why I never went to office hours in college: 1. I’m keeping up with the work, no need to waste the teacher’s time with my questions. 2. I’ve fallen behind in the work. Clearly my lack of understanding is my fault, and if I go, they’ll just tell I should’ve done the work.
