If I could get my Twitter news in digest form, I would. Every day at 5pm is "horror hour" and I get all my news and rage at the time of my choosing etc etc

But I don't know of anything like that. And I don't want to exchange my Twitter feed for a mainstream news subscription. Too much is erased.

Does anyone have any suggestions here? A source of news that will expose me to stories on Indigenous history or the prison strikes or Black women being so woefully underserved by our medical system. Something I can consume on my schedule and not in a feed format.

Not curated, but I went on Mastodon for a while where I'd say there is a higher quota of otherwise marginalized individuals.

I want this too! So I’m commenting to show support, but also to get notified when you get advice. I also recently took a twitter break and I’m thinking the break should be permanent based on my feelings before and after said break.
