also, it's vague language that still "allow[s] people to post content that supports these movements and groups" so long as they're not violent is going to add a lot of caveats that could be hard for facebook to handle

i asked facebook about this and the didn't comment directly but did say that most of the removals were militia groups and that antifa/anarchist groups made up a very small percentage of the bans. banned antifacist groups include:

The only actual "presence" of Antifa is people joking about hanging out at Antifa headquarters with the Supreme Commander. This is the equivalent of banning talk about killing snipes.
