If immigrants are the freeloaders that the right says they are, why does ICE always raid workplaces?

And isn't one of the rights criticisms of immigrants that they "take jobs" from Americans? If they're freeloading, how can they also be taking away so many peoples jobs?

I think new argument is the pay checks have been lower because the immigrants will work for very little.

The US government actually provided a report showing how important "undocumented" immigrants are to our economy. They pay plenty of taxes both directly and indirectly but can't get refunds. They are consumers. If they disappear tomorrow, we are in trouble.

There's already a labor shortage in many industries. The construction industry would be screwed if all the workers who were not legal were deported. There are many white people benefiting from their labor & many who make a fortune helping them become "legal enough" to work.

I just made a trip to my little store and two people ahead of me were white, using food stamp cards, speaking English, one buying a KoolAid type drink and other buying candy, no food. They were both 35-45, no disabilities I could see, just a bad diet and I'm paying for it.
