I have seen many in my corner of tech Twitter who have either been furloughed or laid off. We are in a lucky position here at TrueLayer - we haven't been directly impacted and we are still hiring in both London and Milan. If you are looking, my DMs are open.

The range of skillsets we are looking for is quite broad - backend and fullstack engineers, engineering managers, product, DevOps/infrastructure. If what we do sounds interesting to you, get in touch - it's likely we have an open position for it (now or soon enough!)

Speaking of technology in particular - our stack is mainly .NET Core for backend services, Python for anything ML/Data-related, TypeScript when it comes to front-end work. There is also a fair and (fast) growing amount of
@rustlang in CLI tools and build tooling (soon in APIs!)1 reply 1 retweet 2 likesShow this thread -
None of those languages are a requirement (speaking for my team right now) - knowledge is easily transferred between OOP languages and we are more than happy to take onboard good folks who come from a different stack (I myself only knew Python when I joined).
