Both ordinary and mathematical objects are soaked in actual infinity at all times. To see this requires a suspension of what Husserl called the "reductionist natural attitude" and an activation of what he called "epoche" or "transcendental reduction."

Does reason #2 depend on the lifespan of the universe? I'm thinking the speed-limit of c means that e.g. a turing machine tape can't move past the head faster than c, so if the universe ends after a finite time, only a finitely large tape could be processed before the end.

Also, how does the binding problem figure as a reason for expecting a finite possible-experiences space?
