Cocaine is well known for causing anosmia in regular users. I suspect we are going to see a wave of anosmic people as ketamine becomes more popular. Don't be a victim. "Remember kids, don't insufflate drugs - either eat them or inject them" would be my DARE go-to phrase.

Indeed! Cognitive decline is very apparent in regular users. Especially memory: https://www.frontiersin.org/articles/10.3389/fpsyt.2014.00149/full … The synergy between dissociatives and psychedelics is a very important lead in consciousness research. But better drugs and methods of administration should be used.

Is there research suggesting that insufflating can cause more damage to the liver vs other methods? Or are you referring to general risk of liver damage?

That's ketamine in general :/ Becoming anosmic, though, is specific to the route of administration. Can you imagine never being able to smell Bleu de Chanel again? I shudder at the mere thought of it... (well, substitute your favorite smell/food instead)

Also nicotine degrades scents. I’ve argued against the idea that nicotine is good for schizophrenia, and so here we have both nicotine and the psychotomimetic degrading scents. Suspicious
