Why be a psychonaut when you could be a pleasurenaut? Posthuman psychedelia will be both extremely weird and unfathomably blissful.
"High valence" is really a better term than "pleasant", for it points towards the much more general category of subjectively valuable experiences that may not be recognized as blissful from the point of view of narrow-qualia humans like us. Indeed, non-greedy exploration is key.

Exploration will better ensure survival. Exploring feels is worthwhile (presuming qualia is all that has worth, which may or may not be the case forever), but exploring what the world is, what the threats are, and how to indefinitely ensure survival might mean...
