Being a pleasurenaut is good, so long as it doesn't take away one's ability to be a "naut" of exploring/acquiring other kinds of knowledge/capabilities. There are quite likely to be higher "goods" than pleasure (or anything a hominid can think up), and we ought to find them.

"High valence" is really a better term than "pleasant", for it points towards the much more general category of subjectively valuable experiences that may not be recognized as blissful from the point of view of narrow-qualia humans like us. Indeed, non-greedy exploration is key.
