Morning - am starting an occasional series on bonkers journalist job titles. Hot on the heels of dear BBC’s « reality Check Correspondent » (all journalism is reality checking) I notice the Guardian has a « Video Games Editor ».

Video Games editor isn't remotely a mad job title though.

I think Alex may possibly be unaware of the proportion of the entertainment/arts industry occupied by video games. It would be more 'mad' for a national newspaper not to have an editor covering it.

What's mad about the title? He oversees and edits the reviews and news in regards to the games industry. What, if any, is a better title than what they already have? Is it any more mad than Political editor, of film editor, or sports editor?
