  1. We now understand the dredging costs at Ramsgate harbour to be in the region of £14,000 per day. Initial contract of 1 month optioning to 3 depending upon weather conditions (E/NE winds push sand and gravel back into harbour channel necessitating further dredging

  7. Dutch dredgers said talk to Seaborne Freight . They’ve gone quiet. We now understand dredging Ramsgate harbour is scheduled for 12 weeks from yesterday ie it should end just after Brexit Day.

  15. Seaborne Freight tell me they are paying for the dredging of the Ramsgate Pprt with this Dutch dredger. A County Councillor tells us it’s the wrong kind of vessel and describes Seaborne Freight as « a joke » tonight

  16. Secrecy and secrecy - neither Ramsgate Port nor the council who owns it will discuss the Seaborne Freight no-Brexit deal plan to rejuvenate its dilapidated ferry terminal. How curious? Have they been sat on by DoT?
