    A regular postdoctoral position at ASIAA (like the one I have) also has a November 15th deadline. Not silly money like the EACOA postdoc, but still a comfortable living. Come work with me! If you haven't figured it out by now, I really like it here.

    There's only a few days left to apply for an EACOA postdoc, which could include coming to work here at ASIAA! It pays *really* well if you're living here in Taiwan

    This is a fun little example of how scientists see the world. Notice something and start wondering why it happens. And now we can crowd source an explanation.

    Aerosol or Aerodynamics Twitter: dust motes falling through sunshine don't quite hit the rug. Instead they go horizontal and gun it, just race along over the rug. Is this ground effect? or am I making it up?

    I don't have many favorite exoplanets, but Kepler-167e is definitely one of them. A true Jupiter analog! And a very attractive place to look for exomoons in the future. This will be an exceptionally challenging analysis but I really hope they pull it off! It'll be huge.
