Fantastic thread! What is your view on this potential source of power: The coherent commitment of your population and society to shared values, and the resilience to stand by those values in times of applied pressure? I feel something like this has merit. Will matters.

I had the honour of working for Romano Prodi in the Commission. I wish all world leaders had his grace and character. Such a great man. And here he is at 84 analysing world affairs...and yes, planning to bike up Mount Etna this summer!

I also believe that the global south might come to regret this though. What was before the current world order was a free-for-all of big domineering small. By demolishing the UN, WTO, IMF et al we go back to a time of might-is-right - and that suits bullies more than any1 else.

Viisaita ajatuksia hyvin sanoitettuna. Erityisesti painottamasi globaalin etelän asema geopoliittisessa kilpailussa huomionarvoista, ikävä kyllä aiheesta keskustelua käydään liian vähän Suomessa kv-politiikan tutkimuksen ja tieteenalan ulkopuolella.

You📱: I still remember that cell phone. And do you also remember how much it costs to call another EU country?: 📞EU With our roaming legislation extended for 10 more years, Europeans can continue calling with the same conditions as at home. #EURoaming
