Any tips/ tricks for finding time away from screens when working remotely? Hoping to land a remote job in the not too far out future.

* Get a smartwatch that reminds you to move. * Set clear work hours: Don’t skip lunch and stop working at a certain time. * Drink lots of water: it’s healthy and you have to get up to pee a lot. * Disable work apps on your phone before and after work hours.

Once it hits 5pm, I turn off my laptop to either read a book, journal or practice learning ukulele. I have no interest to even want to watch tv or stare at another screen for entertainment haha

Oh that’s nice! Same here. Audio books, podcasts and calligraphy are my life savers.

Completely agree! I try to go on a long walk after work to unwind and get out. Feeling nervous about it, but I’m even considering taking an adult beginner ballet class, to get active and to try something wayyyy out of my comfort zone.

This is so true.. And I have such a hard time with it, but commuting with little kids is not an option right now... But, yes, I barely watch any shows because I can't stand looking at a screen any longer! Books, and yes, my children, are life savers
