If you can’t take a break (like a vacation) there’s always something you can do *for yourself*. A few self care tips – credit to my sister

1. Go for a walk in nature and take deep breaths 2. Meditate 3. Make sure you have enough sleep (at least 8 hours a day) 4. Draw to express your feelings (like doodles or coloring books) 5. Start a gratitude journal 6. Light up candles 7. Help out in an animal shelter

I'd like to add, from personal experience: These symptoms needn't be caused by simply being overworked. These are symptoms of depression, and you can experience them no matter if you work 12 hour shifts or an hour every other day. The latter being far more insidious.

Being tired, anxious, joyless, stuck in a neverending loop of analyzing everything and everyone while doing _nothing_ makes you question your own self-worth in the worst possible ways. And it's nigh impossible to get out of that rut on your own.
