After a year in development, I'm excited to announce the private beta of Mosey (mosey.so)—radically simple employment and tax compliance for remote-first startups.
Why dedicate the next decade of my life to compliance?

Fully harnessing remote work’s potential to improve access to opportunity doesn't depend on collaboration tools or company culture (those are still important), but on something we don’t hear discussed often.

Businesses need to follow rules to employ people. This is a good thing. In general, these rules aim to protect people and promote fairness.

But every location has different employment and tax rules. Supporting remote work means businesses must navigate *thousands* of requirements across registration, tax, HR, payroll, and insurance that are just different enough that they can't be generalized.
This is a bad thing.

The future of remote work faces an existential threat: that compliance becomes so burdensome and expensive that many employers give up and revert to an office-centric model. We can’t let that happen.
What are we doing about it?

We're building Mosey (mosey.so) to give startups the automation and expertise required to hire remotely and stay compliant. All for a fraction of the cost of outsourcing to expensive law firms and hiring tax and HR consultants, or building a dedicated team.

Simply put, we’re making remote work available to everyone by solving compliance.
If you've made it this far, I'd love to include you in Mosey's private beta.

Looks awesome. Almost our entire portfolio is remote-first and a solution to this stuff is a common complaint. Just signed us up for the waitlist :)
