I used to see this stuff everywhere in Hong Kong, always suspected it was a massive, unsustainable grab. So glad to see are on it and have issued a new report about the illegal trade: 'CATERPILLAR FUNGUS IN ILLEGAL WILDLIFE TRADE'. wwfindia.org/?21442%2Fcater #caterpillarfungus

So when are you going to stop selling tuna caught with harmful fish aggregating devices (FADs)? These environmentally destructive floating objects cause ocean carnage by decimating #shark, turtle & cetacean populations as well as causing untold plastic pollution around the world.

Dear , please can you support India’s drifting FAD BAN proposal at IOTC next month? As you are aware, drifting FADs (out of sight, out of mind to the public) are a total environmental disaster. They slaughter endangered species and spread toxic plastics pollution! BAN!!!

Sanity at last! India's proposal to BAN harmful 🇪🇺🇪🇸🇫🇷 fish aggregating devices (FADs) could SAVE 100,000s of #SHARKS per year! Shark Guardian fully supports India and encourages all Indian Ocean Tuna Commission parties to adopt the proposal in February!🙏 iotc.org/documents/proh

22/ FADs are so effective that their number has skyrocketed even though they contribute to the collapse of tuna populations and the loss of marine species. And guess what? The EU is blocking proposals from African countries to limit the number of these terrible life traps…

Watch Thai Union's Head of Comms deflect focus from plastics pollution caused by (shark-entangling) fishing gear, to giving Thai urban poor sun hats as they crawl across trash dumps looking for recyclables. Around 40% of all plastics in the ocean is from fishing industry. Urgh.

Hi ! Is this a joke?! Thai Union is NOT a sustainable company. seachangesustainability.org/press-releases In 2017 TU committed to "reduce the number of [harmful] fish aggregating devices (FADs) used globally in [their] supply chains by an average of 50% by 2020". ⚠️TO DATE THEY HAVE NOT!⚠️

I see a future where smartphones are replaced by smartglasses, allowing us to experience augmented reality in our everyday lives. We will be able to interact with people in real-time, as if they were physically present, and use the technology to enhance our daily activities.😎
